This FLUVAL Plus Special Carbon Filter Pad with high-quality impregnated active carbon has been specially developed as a fine filter medium for the FLUVAL Plus Underwater Filter. It is particularly suited to filtering out harmful liquid substances, dyes, medicines and extremely fine suspended particles and contaminants. It improves the clarity, colour and smell of the water and does not alter the water properties. Instructions for use: Rinse the Special Carbon Filter Pad thoroughly before use and insert into the center of the media cartridge, between two foam pads. Remove after 1 week at the latest and renew at regular intervals or when necessary. To ensure retention of the beneficial bacteria required for biological filtering, never change all filter media at the same time.
