This FLUVAL Plus Foam Pad has been specially developed as a standard filter medium for the FLUVAL Plus Underwater Filter and maximizes surface contact between the water and the media. These large filtering surfaces ensure efficient cleaning of the aquarium water and maximize the colonization of beneficial bacteria. Instructions for use: Rinse the pads thoroughly before use and push into the empty side compartments of the media cartridges. Replace the pads when the water circulation slows noticeably or when the Filter Clogging Indicator is in the down position. To ensure retention of the beneficial bacteria required for biological filtering, never change both pads at the same time.
