Ick is usually the result of sudden changes in the aquarium water temperature or stress. Left untreated, ick spreads rapidly and is usually fatal to fish. Special ingredients have been added to protect fish form secondary infections. Tetra Fizz Tabs are fast dissolving, pre-measured tablets that make caring for your aquarium faster, easier and more convenient. Simply drop the Fizz Tabs tablet into your aquarium water, the fizzing action assures you the ingredients are working immediately! With Ick Guard Fizz Tabs, there's no need to raise the water temperature. Safe for freshwater aquarium fish and plants. Treats up to 80 gallon aquarium.
Active Ingredients: Victoria Green, Acriflavine. Directions: Add one tablet to each 10 gallons of aquarium water. Note: for tank volumes of 40 gallons or larger, and for soft and/or acid water with low alkalinity, dissolve tablets before adding to tank. Use half strength for scaleless, weak, sensitive or small fish. There is no need to raise the water temperature. Remove carbon from filter during use. If ick persists, treat every 24 hours until it clears. Change 25% of the water before adding any new dose.
