• An easy-to-read, continous qualitative visual indication of the current CO2 level in a freshwater aquarium.


• In addition to regular feeding with essential nutrients and trace elements, plants require a large supply of carbon dioxide (CO2) during daylight hours to photosynthesisize and grow. In a planted aquarium the natural level of this important gas is insufficient to maintain plant health and therefore CO2 must be added. Too much CO2 can reduce pH to levels that are stressful to fish so the CO2 level should be continuously monitored.


• Consists of the following components: transparent cap, indicator body, color scale and suction cup.
