Great reef substrate !!

The test kit is hard to use because you cannot easily determine the amount of color change in the solution being tested. Therefore, the range of error in your test is very large and renders the results unreliable. Many other kits have the same issues for testing iron, so it is advisable to check reviews of other units as well before selecting one. I am personally going to try a higher priced digital unit to take the color guess out of the equation...

I can't believe how bright this light is. It does a great job with my 25 gallon tank and only pulls maybe 10 watts. At night, when the other lights in the house are off, this thing lights up my dining room and kitchen!..

Zoo Med makes some of the highest quality items, period. This lamp is made in Germany. It lasts longer, burns brighter and keeps reptiles healthier. I use it on a turtle tank with great results! A must have!..

Absolutely EXCELLENT item... measures very quick, convienient an accruately.....
The instructions that come with it are totally buggered up though.... Contact MFG and they will
give you the proper instruction... Once you get the hang of it...beautiful clean unit....bit more
heavy duty then competitor's in similar price range.
I wish they had an ALK one!..
