Veggie Pellets 3mm [250g]   by JIllian Olsen Date Added: Tuesday 25 November, 2014
Veggie Pellets 3mm [250g]
I'm SO pleased with this product, as well as the community fish pellets I purchased. I was enthralled when I found out about Northfin fish food. What is and isn't on the ingredients list is impressive, to say the least, and it's made in the same country I live in. My algae eaters, who seemed to be just scraping by, are now thriving on these foods! They actually come out from hiding to eat with the guppies instead of waiting until dark to get the scraps, if there are any. I can't see myself ever switching back to the conventional food. It may cost more, but I feel that it's well worth the difference in cost...

Kritter Keeper - Large Rectangle w/lid   by JIllian Olsen Date Added: Tuesday 25 November, 2014
Kritter Keeper - Large Rectangle w/lid
I am pleased with my tarantula's new enclosure! The lid snaps on and fits very well, so I don't have to put weight on top of this one to keep her from lifting it and having an adventure. Be careful with them as they are made of plastic. Compared to glass tanks, they're easier to scratch while moving substrate and critter furniture...

AquaClear 70 Power Filter [Formerly 300]   by Lenore Tessier Date Added: Monday 31 March, 2014
AquaClear 70 Power Filter [Formerly 300]
Awesome Filter! The AQ series of filter are the best hang on back power filter you can get. the customizable media basket, and the adjustable water flow makes this a very versatile filter!! It comes with some filter media witch I promptly gave away. I have a very specific way I like my media. First I replace the foam that comes with the filter, with filter floss. I don't use carbon unless after medicating so the carbon that was included went into storage. Use the extra space the carbon would have taken up with more biological filtration. The ceramic media that comes standard when ordering an AQ is not bad, but not good enough for my 300% overstocked cichlid tank. I use 2 litres of seachem matrix instead of the media the AQ products comes with. 1 Litre of seachem matrix (Also sold at mops.ca) has more surface area for biological filtration to grow than 10 gallons of bio-balls!!!..

Nitra-Guard Bio-Cubes [500mL]   by Adrian Disanza Date Added: Sunday 06 January, 2013
Nitra-Guard Bio-Cubes [500mL]
My current tank is a planted 65 gallon discus set up. I have tried many products that claim to lower nitrates, but have not had very much success. I decided to try this product based on good reviews from other sites and forums. This product WORKS. Two weeks ago my nitrate levels were approximately 15 - 20 ppm. To fully test the product I did not do any water changes during the two weeks, which is very uncommon as nitrates tend to build quickly in my tank, and upon testing i was surprised by a reading of 1 - 5 ppm. I used the bomb method and placed it directly in my tank. I was a bit sceptical of the performance of the bomb method especially considering my air pump is slightly underpowered for the tank, but it performed well. I would definitely recommend this product to other discus owners and would not see why this product could not function well in a salt water setting. Excellent product!..
