Works as expected. Other filters can slip into the filter area on the BioCube but I resort to that only if I can't get my hands on the original filters...

I've had this pump for almost 2 years in a fairly deep (28") 150gal aquarium with one 36" flexible rubber type bubble wand at the end. Very powerful originally and even though it has lost much of it's power (I would even guess that it might have lost half of it's strength now), I still consider it to be a good reliable pump for the money. It's quiet provided it's on a good surface. It still pumps enough air evenly throughout the wand to make the bubble effect look nice and my fish are doing very well so I'm happy to rate it as a good product that would probably do just fine is a tank that isn't as deep...

Super great product. I used this to epoxy a rock that kept falling when my clowns would get excited. I also used it to epoxy a very large frogspawn coral to a certain location. I love the fact that it's purple when it cured. It's so reef friendly that a zoanthid has started to grow right over it...

I purchased this as I noticed a small outbreak of aiptasia starting in my tank. With just a small dose of Aiptasia-X I've killed off three aiptasia's. It's easy to use, just cover the area where the aiptasia is and the solution does all the work. I've lent this to a friend who was a few aiptasia that he couldn't kill with other products. He came back and said he was ordering a bottle, that's how good it is!..

I bought one of these six years ago and it is still going strong. We've had at least two cats using it the whole time. Need I say more?..
